Laptop Bags with eco friendly

Many people today are in the market for environmentally friendly laptop bags. There are many ways to be eco-friendly when purchasing new goods. You should ask yourself if you want to buy a pre-made bag or if you prefer to craft the bag yourself. Perhaps you have bags that you want to recycle to make a new chic green laptop bag. Once you decide which method of green you want, then you can decide where to search for the perfect laptop bag.

Environmentally friendly laptop bags are all the rage. With so many ways to be eco-friendly when purchasing new items, why not make sure to take the environment into consideration? First, ask yourself if you want to make your own eco-friendly bag or purchase a manufactured bag. Are you particularly crafty? If not, then maybe manufactured is the way to go. Once you decide which path, the next step is finding the materials for your green laptop bag or searching online for the manufactured green laptop bags.

If you are a crafty individual, and decided on making your own laptop bag, your next step is to find what materials you would like your bag to be made from. You can go doubly green by recycling the material from old bags or clothing to make your new laptop bag. There are laptop bags online made from all kinds of recycled material, from recycled newspapers to used solar panels that allow you to charge your portable electronic devices on the go. Once your material is chosen, then the sewing pattern needs to be found. Before picking the pattern, you must choose what style of laptop bag you would find most functional day to day. If you are a student, messenger bags or backpacks are the best because the storage area is much larger than some of the available styles. If you are a business professional then a briefcase might be more your speed. Once the style is determined, you can pick your favorite search engine and search for "'enter style here' laptop bag sewing pattern". There are tons of websites out there with sewing patterns for everything, including laptop bags. When picking your pattern, consider whether the laptop storage area has enough padding to sufficiently protect your laptop.

If you chose to buy a manufactured green laptop bag, then you need to find the manufacturers that make eco-friendly laptop bags, either from recycled material or in a factory that has a low carbon footprint. Some of the manufacturers use renewable materials, such as bamboo. If you will be traveling with your bag or for the students out there, lugging your bag around campus and subjecting the bag to all kinds of weather, consider looking for laptop bags using recycled rubber or vinyl material. There are laptop bags made from materials such as used rubber inner tubes from spent tires, and yes, they are both waterproof and stylish.

Latest Computer Technology

Do you know what is inside your computer? Maybe you peeked when the service technician was installing something for you. When you first open up the CPU and look inside, a computer is a very threatening machine. But once you know about the different parts that make up a complete computer it gets a lot easier. Today's computers consist of around eight main components; some of the advanced computers might have a few more components. What are these eight main components and what are they used for? We will start with beginner level details to get you started.

First is the Power Supply. The power supply is used to provide electricity to all of the components in your computer. It is usually a rectangular box and is usually positioned in one of the corners of the computer. To find it for sure, look to see where the power cable plugs into the back of the computer and you have found the power supply. Most power supplies today are calculated in wattage and come in 50 watt increments (500 watt, 550, 600, etc

Second is the Motherboard. All of the components are connected into the motherboard; it doesn't mean that it is the brain of the computer. Yes it holds the brain and helps it act together with all the other components of the machine.

The third and a very important component of a computer is the CPU (Central Processing Unit), Known as the brain of the computer and nothing is going to happen without it. All major calculation performed by a computer are carried out inside its CPU. It is also responsible for activating and controlling the operations of other units of the system. The faster the CPU can do these calculations and give the correct answers, the faster the computer runs for the user. CPUs are now measured in gigahertz (Ghz) and they are at present up to our 3.8GHz or faster

A fourth component is the RAM (Random Access Memory). RAM is used as momentary working storage for the computer. We have different types of RAM memory with different speed, but it should match with your motherboard so that it can work properly. The more RAM you have in your computer, the better your computer will work.

The fifth component is the Hard drive. This is where you can store everything. Our material on the hard drive includes the operating system (Windows XP, etc), games, and different types of software, etc. over the year the capacity of the hard drive is continuously improving and in the interval of few years its capacity have gone from around 20MB to over 500GB and more. So you can store a lot more information on your computer such as games, pictures, videos, applications, and more.

Sixth component is Cooling fans. Often most computers come with one cooling fan or it might have several. Its help to cool down the heat generated by others components, Such as power supply, the CPU, and some high-end video cards. The work of all of your cooling fans is to get this heat out of the case so that nothing overheats and breaks. While most of the noise you hear coming from a computer can be credited to the cooling fans, remember to be tolerant. The cooling fan is your friend!

Our Seventh and final component is the mixture of several different devices. These are the Cd-rom, DVD drives, floppy Drive and Backup devices such as external hard drive.

12v Battery - 4 Tips to Prolong Its Life

his is a battery operated world. There is a high demand for batteries for mp3s, cellphones, laptops and digital cameras. One thing is for sure that as technologies advance, 12v batteries advance too. They must be smaller, have more power and of course, last longer.

I remember the time that I had to throw away my batteries just because they did not work anymore. No more though! The demands have changed the way we think and thanks to professionals, there is a way. It is called recondition. Reconditioning can give your 12v battery, or any battery more life.

Let me lay down for you a 4 tips on 12V battery tips:

1. Reconditioning is required when crystals develop(sulfation) inside the battery causing loss of power. The best process is by slowing discharging them. That means, to slowly "throw away" any energy left inside.

2. If storing your batteries, then make it properly. Before storing it just fully charge the battery. Avoid humidity, and make sure nothing get in contact with the poles, which might get the power to "slip away" I use special caps to protect them - if you don't have or can't find, use normal plastic foil.

3. If the battery has crystals inside, the so called sulfation, you can remove it by infusing some additives specially for batteries and allowing the battery to rest.

4. If you don't already know, keep the battery in a refrigerator overnight and recharge it next morning. Repeating two to three times in this way it can actually make the battery work for another three to four hours.

A tip using iphone during Travelling

To make your journey more enjoyable and prevent loss information, there are a tip by using

your iphone.

I will briefly teach you my favorite 5 top tips for traveling abroad with your iPhone

It is remarkable how much the world, as well as our daily lives have changed since the advent of mobile phones and in particular smart phones, such as the iPhone 3g by Apple. Some of us can remember the days when we use to make appointments once a day and kept them because there was no way to communicate the change of plan unless you were at home. Nowadays we need to be able to use the tools to our disposal to make better informed decisions... Even when on holiday or traveling.

The fact that there are websites that cater solemnly for providing high quality iPhone tutorial videos and cheat sheets is testament to this new wave of technology.

The cost of traveling with the internet in your pocket

With the recent advances, especially with the large amount of high quality Internet-connected applications that are available for the iPhone, trying to accomplish your daily tasks without the Internet on your phone becomes a problem.

This is a dilemma myself and other high frequency or power users of the iPhone have faced when having to travel abroad with your iPhone, which brings a few interesting challenges with it when you find out the roaming rate for data is between £3 and £6 between Europe and the rest of the world.

Luckily I have traveled internationally with my iPhone many times and found some novel solutions and will now supply a few tips to make traveling abroad with your iPhone a painless and more enjoyable experience.

Tip 1: Disable voicemail before leaving

Most carriers for the iPhone will charge you to receive voice-mails while you are abroad. With the Visual voicemail feature of the iPhone this means you will be charged international rates every time someone leaves a voicemail, whether you listen to it or not. It is easy to avoid these charged by disabling your voicemail while travelling abroad. For UK customers, to switch voicemail divert off dial 1760. On your return to switch it back on dial 1750.

Another way of disabling voice-mail before traveling is to type #004# and call. Enabling voice-mail on your return can be done by typing *004# and pressing call. Not all Networks across the globe allow this functionality, so if this tip doesn't work for you just call your operator support to disable the visual voicemail

Tip 2: Disable data roaming.

Unfortunately data roaming with the iPhone Internet enabled applications can work out costly if you weren't expecting it. It is surprising how much data an application such as email or normal web browsing can consume, which will leave you with a big shock when you find the bill at the end of the month.

To do this from the home screen click settings- general settings- network- data roaming - off

There are ways to still use your applications such as GPS navigation even with this feature turned off as explained later in this tutorial.

Before you go traveling I suggest you clear the data counter so that if you do switch on the data roaming occasionally for checking a important email or website, you will know exactly what the charge will be. To clear the data usage counters, from the home screen press the settings button, then press "usage" and lastly press "reset statistics" button.

Tip 3: enable flight mode when not expecting calls.

If you are on holiday, I'm sure you don't want to be interrupted while listening to your favourite mp3's while tanning on the white beaches of Sardinia or another gorgeous part of Europe.

•This will stop you from receiving calls while activated, but more importantly prevent your battery from running flat for when you really DO need to make an important call.

• if you are near a WIFI access point you can still activate the wireless While the phone is still in airplane mode giving you the best solution:Internet access without data roaming charges and linger battery life.

Tip 4: Download the GoogleMaps so they are ready for GPS without incurring data rates

• Download the google maps prior to leaving your home country. All you need to do is to open the google maps app, search for your destination( preferably your hotel accommodation or street address ) and zoom in and around.

• The Google maps app will keep these maps in its temporary cache and will not require Internet access to display them again once you arrive in your destination.

• Prior to leaving I suggest to drop a pin on your points of interest, which you can then use as place marks to find your way around.

• If you have access to a Internet cafe or WIFI access point at your accommodation you can also visit your itinerary stops over the WIFI connection and have those maps cached when you are out and about.

Tip 5: Download offline translation applications.

• most of us will be familiar with the free applications such as iTranslate which uses Google translate over your Internet connection to translate between languages. When abroad this data transfer can be costly. I have found that paying a few dollars or pounds for the offline version of the software which includes phrases and vocabulary is much better and performs significantly faster.

Please note that these are only a small extract of tips for traveling with your iPhone from iPhoneTutorialVideos.com

There are many more techniques available that will help you use your iPhone when abroad and you would be surprised with the results that this little computer in your pocket can achieve once you get to know its secrets.
